New family member
A Volkswagen Beetle, an afternoon in Antwerp, and no brief other than the one I gave myself: shoot it like a brand commission, not a quick set of snaps.
The industrial district set the tone. Quiet streets, straight lines and soft, diffused light, with the Beetle's rounded shape standing out against all that rigid geometry. That contrast is what the whole series ended up being about.
Spec work again, but shot with the same care I'd bring to an actual Volkswagen brief.
