No brief, no commission, no safety net. I applied for media access to ULTRACE Germany at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf purely on the strength of my work, turned up, and shot the event on my own terms.
The result spoke for itself: ULTRACE requested the images and published a selection on their own channel. Sometimes the most useful proof isn't a contract, it's a respected platform choosing to put your work in front of their audience.
