Fifty years of three letters
Fifty years of the GTI badge is not a small anniversary, and Volkswagen AG celebrated it properly. I was brought in through Banauten GmbH to shoot the event at The Wall in Utrecht.
The full scope covered both stills and video: event photography alongside a set of edits including a GTI Evolution lineup piece, Polo Cup coverage and some ASMR-style cuts. What you see here is the photography side of it.
The frames themselves are straightforward, and that's fine by me. When the client is Volkswagen and the subject is fifty years of GTI, my job is to let the heritage do the talking.
